FAQ’s

We provide bespoke catering for your event, with great food that everyone can enjoy

Dairy free, gluten free, halal, kosher, vegetarian or vegan – you name it, we’ve catered to it. There’s space in our enquiry form for you to list any specific dietary restrictions or preferences for your guests. We will then advise what alternatives we can create based on the menu you’ve chosen.

All we need is that you set the table, clear the kitchen surface and create some room in your fridge. Let us know if you are planning any theme for your event. If there is anything extra you need, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your needs.

You need to cancel any guest or function 5 days prior to the event. If you decide to cancel at a later stage, unfortunately, we cannot give you a full refund. However, we are always happy to evaluate every single case and get the best outcome for both parties.

Once the menu and date has been confirmed, we will send through a direct payment link to make a payment via credit or debit card. We accept cash, all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express with no credit card fees or surcharges.

You would have to pay a 15% deposit to secure your booking. The outstanding balance can be paid on the day of the event or 24h prior to your event

Yes! We can certainly travel with you to alternate locations. We can also arrive ahead of you and meet you at your desired destination with food and drinks ready to serve upon your arrival.

Due to strict public health code regulations, and the potential for foodborne illness due to improper handling prior to our arrival, all ingredients must be purchased by us and kept in our supervised control until they are served. Not only does this ensure proper food safety, but also better quality and freshness of your dining experience.

It really depends on your style of event and menu. For Grazing’s, we will set up and leave you to it. For private chef experiences, we will have to arrive a couple of hours before the event to start prepping and serve your courses as they would come out at a restaurant.

When your guests arrive and what time you eat is up to you. We will discuss this with you to work out timings for your event on the day.

Definitely not! That’s one of the best things about booking an experience with Sadefoodlab: we’ll prep, cook, serve, and clean, so all you need to worry about is enjoying yourself.

The only thing worse than throwing a party and being stuck in the kitchen all night is waking up to a mess. Many hosts tell us we left their kitchen cleaner than it was when they arrived!

The more notice you can give us the better, but we understand sometimes plans can be difficult to nail down. Two weeks is generally the latest notice period we can manage as we do book up quickly.

Our advice is to pop your enquiry in as early as possible so we can start checking our availability, and we can always look at new dates if needed.

Not to worry! We know it can be hard to manage a group’s schedule. We recommend confirming your booking with the minimum guests you’re expecting. You can then add on more guests leading up to your gathering.
